Blazer & Cardigan: Old Navy, Jeans & Flats: American Eagle

Every few months or so I feel like I just have a week or so of HATING whatever I put on. Outfits that work in theory or hanging on a hanger just fall flat when I put them on. I have loved the cardigan buttoned under a blazer look on so many other gals but my rendition isn't doing it for me in these pictures. It could be because I am trying to sift through some old items and purge what doesn't work. These jeans? Don't work. Good thing I have a friend with a self proclaimed "clothing shortage" who will gladly take them off my hands along with some other
not for me anymore pieces..
Hopefully this is just a style growing pain and we'll be on the other side -
standing taller - in no time.

That purple is so lovely on you! I know how it feels to have an outfit just not look right in your opinion, though. It's not a good feeling. I think you look beautiful!
I feel that way about my entire wardrobe right now. Maybe it's because someone asked me if I was pregnant and now I feel like nothing I own is flattering... You really do look gorgeous, though. I've never seen the blazer/cardigan thing and I think it's really cute!

Oh we all have those weeks, right? But if something really isn't working for you, then YES give it up and give it to your friend. Better to have a few things you love than a lot of things you hate!

Oh we've all been there, I usually get angry at my wardrobe but realize it's mainly because I haven't done laundry or I haven't been eating very healthfully, I'm sure you'll be in full swing soon!
We all go through it! I have a rare condition{made-up} where I am constantly throwing out{donating} things I don't like...today! I can't tell you how many cute things I have given away, because I didn't like them for more than one day in a row. Keep you head up, don't give it away too soon and you'll be dancing in front of the mirror in no time!! {just me?}
I hate that too! Even with the condensed wardrobe, I still end up sitting in front of my 30 items and hating every single item and wish I had picked better stuff.
I do like the cardigan + buttoned cardigan look on you! :)
And *ahem* if you want to get rid of any clothes, your friendly neighbor (aka me) will gladly take it off your hands, too! :D I would suggest a clothing swap, but I just got rid of a bunch of things and have nothing "good" left to swap :(
i totally get what you're saying. going through something similar, in fact. for what it's worth, though, i think you look absolutely fabulous and adorable. loving the purps. hang in there!
